Yes. Gooday is completely free for everyday users on the app. You can sync your calendars, find times that work for everyone, make plans, and discover great places and events in your city — all without paying a cent.
For hosts, Gooday uses a simple, transparent pricing model:
Small businesses
• $2 booking fee per attendee for events and bookings secured
• 5% commission on pre‑paid events and services, including all payment processing fees
Social clubs
• 5% commission on pre‑paid events and services, excluding payment processing fees
This structure keeps Gooday free for users while giving hosts access to powerful booking tools, AI‑driven marketing, and event management features that help grow their community and attendance.
Gooday compares everyone’s availability, pulled from your synced Google or Outlook calendars, and instantly suggests the best times for the whole group.
You set your social availability, so friends only see the times you want them to see, cross‑checked with your real availability in the background. No one ever sees your actual calendar unless you choose to share it.
This means no more buried messages, forgotten “I can’t make it”, or double‑bookings. You simply share your availability, pick a time that suits everyone, and lock in the plan in seconds. And if you ever do want to share your full calendar with someone, that option is there, but it’s entirely up to you.

You can set up your social club or small business through Gooday’s dedicated web‑based SaaS platform, designed specifically for hosts. This is where you’ll create your account, manage your events and access all the tools built for businesses and community groups.
Right now, host accounts can’t be created directly through the mobile app. While you’ll soon be able to create and link events from the app, the full setup experience, including AI‑powered targeted marketing, event management tools, and payment insights, lives on the web platform.
